Greg Nossaman, Co-Founder and Managing Director – G Squared Capital Partners, works with Aerospace, Defense and Government Services companies to maximize value through mergers & acquisitions. Mr. Nossaman has deep experience advising company owners, management teams and boards of directors on acquisitions, divestitures, public and private equity raises, fairness opinions, management and employee buyouts and enhancing shareholder value.

 

 

 

Greg Woodford, Co-Founder and Managing Director – G Squared Capital Partners, brings more than 20 years’ experience serving middle market companies in the Aerospace, Defense and Government Services industries. Mr. Woodford has advised clients on a wide range of strategic alternatives including mergers & acquisitions (both buy side and sell side), recapitalizations, management buyouts and raising capital. He has represented companies ranging in size from $10 million to $250 million, and has completed transactions with many of the industry’s leading companies including Lockheed Martin, BAE Systems, CACI International, Raytheon, ICF International, ManTech International and SAIC, among others.

Jonathan WolcottJonathan Wolcott, Partner, Corporate and M&A Group – Holland & Knight’s Tysons office, is a member of H&K’s market-leading government contractor M&A practice. He has represented government contractors ranging from start-ups to large public companies in M&A, public and private securities compliance, corporate governance and related transactional matters for over 18 years, as well as representing private equity firms and investment banks focusing on the government industry Mr. Wolcott has completed over M&A 100 transactions in the government contractor space. He also leads pro bono and public charitable services efforts for H&K’s Tysons VA office. Mark D. MooreMark D. Moore, Division Executive, Corporate & Institutional Banking – Sandy Spring Bank, has joined the company as Division Executive for Corporate and Institutional Banking. In this newly created position, Moore will focus on building upon the Bank’s capabilities and accelerating growth in the middle market, government contracting, non-profit, and specialized lending spaces. He has 35 years of broad-based banking experience in strategic planning and overall operations and has held senior positions at financial institutions of all sizes in Northern Virginia. Most recently, he was a Regional President at Atlantic Union Bank. Moore is a Board Member of the Small Emerging Contractors Advisory Forum (SECAF), the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce and the Virginia Tec Pamplin College of Business’ Finance Advisory Board. He is also a member of the Association for Corporate Growth.

 

Frank Merendino, Senior Vice President & Team Leader, Government Contractor Lending Group – Sandy Spring Bank, has more than 40 years of commercial banking and industry experience, including the last 22 years specializing in the Government Contracting (GC) industry. As Team Leader for Sandy Spring Bank’s Government Contractor Lending Group, Frank is responsible for coordinating the Bank’s business development efforts in the GC industry and management of the Group. Currently, Merendino serves as a Council member for the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce Government Contracting Network. He is an active member of the Professional Services Council, the Association of Corporate Growth, The Greater Washington Government Contractor Awards, the Fairfax Chamber of Commerce and the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce. Frank is an outgoing Vice President of the Corvette Club of America and a past Treasurer. Frank holds a BA in Business Administration with honors from Frostburg State University.

He later went to Capitol Hill to work as Deputy Chief of Staff for a Democratic Senator on the International Relations and Finance Committees. chelsea penrod hickmanChelsey Penrod Hickman, Partner – Winning Strategies Washington, brings a unique combination of experience to WSW. She worked on Capitol Hill as a senior Republican staffer for over 10 years, in both the House and the Senate, covering a broad range of issues. Her policy expertise includes appropriations, budget, and tax; defense, including defense health; health care, including pharmaceuticals, patient advocacy, Medicare, and Medicaid; energy, environment, and interior; and trade, tariff, and quota issues. Chelsey’s areas of expertise include coalition-building, grassroots organization, strategic planning, project management, writing, and editing. She is a trained technical writer, and uses those skills to help clients deliver their message as effectively as possible. Chelsey has also developed close working relationships with an array of senior House and Senate leadership and committee staff, as well as with within a variety of agencies. Chelsey uses these relationships to help guide clients and ensure they are engaging the right way with the right people. Prior to joining WSW, Chelsey served as Chief of Staff for Rep. Kay Granger of Texas, current Ranking Member of the House Appropriations Committee. Prior to working for Rep. Granger, Chelsey worked for Sen. Larry Craig, handling his budget and appropriations portfolio.
