Webinar – Reconfigure, Reconstruct, and Re-enter: Mitigating Risk While Sustaining Business Continuity and Enhanced Enterprise Value

Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, businesses are contemplating how to maintain and evolve a safe and secure working environment for their employees, how their everyday business and operational impacts may change, and how government stimulus and stimulus policy may influence the direction of their activities. Aveshka, Deep Water Point, and Atlantic Union Bank will be engaging in a thoughtful, multi-perspective panel discussion on the enduring impacts of COVID-19 that affect businesses and what business leaders need to think about going forward.

Priscilla Golden Priscilla Golden, Program Director of CDC Programs, Aveshka Ms. Priscilla Golden has 25+ years of experience managing government programs, namely, crisis readiness-related programs. Ms. Golden is leading project delivery on Aveshka’s current FDIC COVID-19 advisory services contract. Ms. Golden has previously provided project management, stakeholder engagement, and crisis readiness support for multiple CDC programs and played a key role in CDC’s pandemic planning and H1N1 response efforts. She also served as the state of Georgia Public Health (PH) IT Director, the training manager for the Anniston Chemical Agent Disposal Facility and a component of U.S. training offer for UN chemical weapons inspectors, and was the start-up manager for the Domestic Preparedness Equipment Technical Assistance Program.  Ms. Golden holds a B.A. in Policy Studies from Rice University.   Til Jolly Til Jolly, MD, Senior Consultant for Emergency Care, Aveshka Dr. Jolly is a board-certified emergency physician with a wide range of clinical, government, special event, and private sector experience. He maintains an active consulting practice focused on medical preparedness, major event management, and telemedicine. His current consulting work includes leadership of the Telemedicine Work Group for COVID-19 response as a Senior Emergency Care Consultant to the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response at HHS. Dr. Jolly previously served as Chief Medical Officer of SOC Telemed. He also held senior positions within the Department of Homeland Security to include serving as the Deputy Chief Medical Officer and Associate Chief Medical Officer within the Office of Health Affairs (OHA) and Senior Science Advisor in the National Exercise Division of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Dr. Jolly lead DHS planning and preparedness and briefed DHS leadership on the pandemic influenza and development of 2009 H1N1.   Gregg Lord Gregg Lord, Program Manager, Aveshka Mr. Gregg Lord brings 40 years of experience in emergency response and preparedness, disaster management, and extensive technology development for operational domains.  Mr. Lord previously served as Senior Research Scientist at the George Washington University’s Homeland Security Policy Institute and was detailed to lead the Emergency Care Coordination Center by the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR) at the U.S. HHS.  In 2008, he was appointed by then President George W. Bush to the National Commission on Children and Disasters. Concurrently, he held a five-year Fulbright Scholarship to support New Zealand post the Canterbury Earthquakes helping to design and implement new disaster leadership programs. Mr. Lord lectures internationally and is part of Texas A&M University Domestic Preparedness programs. Mr. Lord holds a Master of Science in Health Sciences from George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree in business management from Reinhardt University. He also completed a post-graduate certificate in Homeland Security Leadership at the United States Naval Post Graduate School.   Harry Thorsnvard image Harry Thornsvard, Partner, Deep Water Point Mr. Harry Thornsvard is a C-Level executive business leader with over 25 years of experience in leading both large and small businesses.  He has been responsible for the strategic direction, growth, and P&L of those businesses.  As a seasoned executive, he has also been responsible for successful M&A transactions in those businesses which led to a significant equity event for the ownership of the organizations.  Deep Water Point clients benefit from his expertise in strategic planning, C-Level advisory services and preparation and assessment of businesses for potential sale. His career record includes winning more than 40 programs, and fostering a vast network of government and industry contacts.
