Ms. Karyn Hayes-Ryan Joins Deep Water Point’s Intelligence Community Team

Former Director of IT Oversight and Component Acquisition Executive at NGA is the latest addition to Deep Water Point’s growing IC team

MCLEAN, Va. October 10, 2018Deep Water Point, a leader in federal market consulting, welcomes Ms. Karyn Hayes-Ryan as a Principal in their Intelligence Community (IC) sector team. Ms. Hayes-Ryan is a senior business development and management leader with over 30 years of experience executing major Department of Defense (DoD) and IC acquisitions. She has managed national program operations and resources, as well as staffed and led strategy and operations organizations. Her targeted focus area will include dramatically growing clients’ market share in the IC and cyber security sectors.

Ms. Hayes-Ryan brings her extensive experience in intelligence, serving most recently as Component Acquisition Executive/Director of Acquisition Services for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). She led and managed a 900-plus member acquisition workforce and oversaw all NGA acquisition functions, directed acquisition policy and provided programmatic and technical oversight for architectures and acquisitions. She previously oversaw all program and IT as the NGA Director of IT Oversight and Deputy Component Acquisition Executive. She had also been responsiblefor acquisition, execution and oversight of all contracts for commercial imagery, data, products and services.

As an executive at theNational Reconnaissance Office (NRO), she was the Deputy Chief Operating Officer, responsible for NRO strategic direction, acquisition, and operational activities and collaboration with NGA and the National Security Agency. Prior to that, as Deputy Chief of the Imagery Intelligence (IMINT) Directorate, she developed and executed IMINT and GEOINT strategy and acquisition and managed day-to-day operations.

Charles R. Hanley Joins Deep Water Point to Lead the Firm’s Capital Resources Group

He also served as Senior Vice President for Information Technology and then as CEO of Project Performance Corporation. His strong background includes executive positions with Northrop Grumman and Federal Data Corporation.  Mr. Hanley has a BBA in Finance from the University of Texas in Austin, is a graduate of the Information Resources Management College/National Defense University, serves as the President of Le Grande Lodge in Mont-Tremblant, Quebec, Canada and is a founder of Blue Triangle Solutions.

Brigadier General Ronald Bouchard, U.S. Army (Retired) Named a Partner at Deep Water Point

Prior to joining Deep Water Point, Bouchard served as Senior Vice President and Deputy General Manager, Global Services Sector and General Manager, DOD Enterprise Services Group for NCI Information Systems, where he was responsible for providing leadership, direction and oversight to the Sector’s four operational units.  At NCI, he served as a key business opportunity strategist, executive lead on proposals, and operations lead on large proposal efforts.

Bouchard joined NCI after retiring from the U.S. Army.  He has experience in planning, implementing and overseeing automation and communications systems for the U.S. Army and for joint organizations. His assignments included: Director, Resource Management, U.S. Army Air Defense Artillery Center and Fort Bliss; Chief of Staff, U.S. Army Cadet Command; Commander, 1st Signal Brigade; Executive Officer to the Commander, UNC/CFC/USFK; Deputy Commanding General, U.S. Army Signal Center and Fort Gordon; Director for Communications System (J6), U.S. Pacific Command; and, Deputy Chief of Staff G-6, U.S. Army Forces Command.

Retired Major General Dennis C. Moran Joins Deep Water Point’s DoD Team
